Zulu 2 is a good all round forage option for grazing, hay or silage. It is classed in the Lower risk group for Prussic acid, being a Sorghum x Sudangrass hybrid. It has very quick growth and is economical to plant. Zulu 2 produces an abundance of leaf with excellent disease resistance ensuring good leaf to stem ratio for highly digestible feed when harvested or grazed at the correct stage of growth. Zulu 2 displays rapid early growth and quickly produces a large bulk of green material. This fact when coupled with Zulu 2’s good recovery following mowing or grazing makes this cultivar a high quality forage alternative.
