Crossfire is a selection of a naturally occurring hybrid cross between Italian and perennial ryegrasses
(Parentage 20% Italian, 80% perennial). It produces a fine dense sward with continuing high levels of
regrowth through spring and summer and is more persistent than other short term ryegrass cultivars.
In areas of reliable summer rainfall or irrigation Crossfire will provide a fine, dense sward for a number
of years and will boost pasture production for late silage, hay or for summer grazing better than Italian
ryegrasses.
Crossfire produces high protein, highly digestible forage with a long growing season potential. Its hybrid nature
ensures superior performance over a wide range of environmental, managerial and climatic conditions.
