Derived from North African germplasm, Origin exhibits excellent persistence and production in summer-dry regions of Australia, and can be used as an alternative to phalaris or ryegrass where persistence is the main objective.
Origin can be used on farm to compliment phalaris in separate paddocks, using Origin in the wetter more acid and more fertile soils. The growth habit of Origin compliments the compatibility of subterranean and white clovers.
