AUSTRALIS PHALARIS |
|
Grazier Australian is adapted to a wide range of soil types and combines well with sub-clover, lucerne and annual medics to give highly productive pastures. Low levels of alkaloids in the leaves of Grazier Australian should reduce the incidence of phalaris staggers in livestock grazing these pastures. However, in districts prone to phalaris staggers graze cautiously in autumn and early winter and increase stock management.
